Tim Franklin

Tim is a highly experienced executive and non-executive director, including chairman, with extensive experience in the building society sector. In addition, he has undertaken a variety of roles on board sub committees including Credit Committee, ALCO and REMCO.

Most recently he was Chief Operating Officer at Co-operative Banking Group, responsible for all contact centres, back office processing, and IT, as well as Corporate Communications and Arrears and Collections with leadership responsibility for 5000 people.

Prior to that he ran Britannia Building Society as Managing Director of the Member Business where he chaired the Society's ALCO and oversaw the successful integration of Britannia and Bristol and West.

Tim's non executive roles have included The Reclaim Fund Board, Link Cash Machines Network, Mutual Plus, Britannia Personal Lending and Britannia International. He was also non-executive chair of Western Mortgage Services Ltd. He is also a member of the Audit Committee.
