Mark Boyle

Mark brings a broad experience gained across the corporate and banking worlds and latterly in Whitehall.

Mark currently works in the Shareholder Executive in BIS which he joined in 2008 and where he is Chief Operating Officer. Before this he spent 12 years in senior commercial and corporate development roles with Compass Group and with Rentokil Initial, prior to which he spent 15 years in banking with Lloyds and Kleinwort Benson.

Mark has a part-time role in the Shareholder Executive to enable him to carry out his duties as Chair of Land Registry, which he fulfils in a private capacity.

Mark's experience in both the public and private sectors brings a range of perspectives both to his leadership of the Land Registry Board and to the development of thinking on a Public Data Group and how we might best support the Government's public data transparency and economic growth objectives.

He currently chairs the remuneration Committee and sits on the board of the Public Data Group.
