Welsh Contact Centre Awards Recognition

The Student Loans Company’s team in Llandudno Junction has been shortlisted in two categories at the Welsh Contact Centre Awards 2018.
Student Finance Wales reached the final in the Small Contact Centre of the Year category, while individual Hannah Davies has been named as a finalist in the Advisor of the Year category.
The customer service centre has also recently been awarded the Contact Centre Association (CCA) Version 6 of Global Standard recognition for the second year in a row.
Head of Operations Maddie Taylor said: “Our contact centre team works very hard to deliver the best possible customer service to students and sponsors in Wales.

“We are pleased that this has been recognised within the CCA Global Standards and Welsh Contact Centre Awards.”
Hannah, from Colwyn Bay, has worked at the Company for more than four years.
Hannah said: “My team leader put my name forward in the Advisor of the Year category and I was thrilled to be nominated and then announced as a finalist.
“No two calls are the same at Student Finance Wales and everyone works really hard to help students understand the finance they are entitled to and guide them through the application process.”
The Student Loans Company employs 130 staff, based at the Welsh Government building at Llandudno Junction. This includes 30 contact centre staff who help to handle over 250,000 calls every year from Welsh students.
The Awards Ceremony will take place in Cardiff on Friday 9 March 2018.
