In the last few months the Gateway to Research (GtR) website has seen some important developments to improve the search function and the information that is provided. Now we are seeking insight from the people that use the website to make more changes.
We welcome your feedback on the GtR website, in particular examples of how you have used the data. Please help us identify additional improvements that would make GtR meet your needs even further by completing this short survey.
The user survey will be open for two months after which the GtR team will review your feedback and decide what improvement suggestions will be included in future development exercises. Please note that you have only two months to complete the survey with a deadline of Wednesday 31st May 2017.

The Gateway to Research (GtR) website has been developed by the Research Councils UK (RCUK) to enable users to search and analyse information about publicly funded research. This website is of particular interest to innovative Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), enabling easy access to information about current research projects and outcomes of past projects; it will however also be of interest to other users, such as academic institutions and the general public. Research Councils UK (RCUK) is the strategic partnership of the UK’s seven Research Councils. Our collective ambition is to ensure the UK remains the best place in the world to do research, innovate and grow business. The Research Councils are central to delivering research and innovation for economic growth and societal impact. Together, we invest £3 billion in research each year, covering all disciplines and sectors, to meet tomorrow’s challenges today. Our investments create new knowledge through: funding research excellence; responding to society’s challenges; developing skills, leadership and infrastructure; and leading the UK’s research direction. We drive innovation through: creating environments and brokering partnerships; co-delivering research and innovation with over 2,500 businesses, 1,000 of which are SMEs; and providing intelligence for policy making.
