UK national academies statement on research and innovation after the EU referendum

Research Councils UK welcomes the statement from the UK national academies on research and innovation after the EU referendum, published on 16 July.

RCUK supports and endorses the points made in the statement which reflect the position of the Research Councils.

The Research Councils issued a statement on international collaboration following the result of the EU referendum which is available here.

The Research Councils and our office in Brussels, the UK Research Office (UKRO), continue to work closely with the research community, partners and Government to ensure that the concerns and needs of UK researchers are represented and are considered in the negotiation of a future relationship with the EU.
