Mike Westcott Rudd
As Head of Corporate Legal Services, Mike Westcott Rudd's main role is to give legal advice to Land Registry on non-registration matters which range from public law innovations to the negotiation of major joint venture agreements.
He also has responsibility for ensuring corporate compliance with information management policies and Freedom of Information, Data Protection and Human Rights legislation, and for dealing with recommendations and comments made by Land Registry's Independent Complaints Reviewer.
After reading law at Cambridge, Mike spent his early career in private practice before joining Land Registry in 1987 and has since undertaken a number of roles within the organisation. Mike was awarded the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors prestigious Michael Barratt award in 2003 for contributions to Geomatics.
