Appointment of a District Judge: Foss

The Queen has appointed Teresa Margaret Foss to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at both Southend County Court and Basildon Combined Court with effect from 16 June 2014.

Notes to editors

Teresa Margaret Foss, aged 48, will be known as District Judge Foss. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1993. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.
