Appointment of a Salaried Judge of the Upper Tribunal, Administrative Appeal Chamber: Hemingway
HM The Queen has appointed Mark Richard Hemingway to be a Salaried Judge of the Upper Tribunal, assigned to the Administrative Appeals Chamber, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.
He will take up post with effect from 9 June 2014.

Mark Richard Hemingway, aged 53, will be known as Upper Tribunal Judge Hemingway. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1987. He was appointed as a Fee-paid 5 Year fixed term Immigration Adjudicator in 2002 (becoming Fee-paid Immigration Judge in 2007), as a Fee-paid Legally Qualified Panel Member of the Appeals Tribunal in 2002 (becoming Fee-paid Tribunal Judge of the First-tier Social Entitlement Chamber in 2008), as a Salaried Tribunal Judge of the First-tier Immigration and Asylum Chamber in 2010 and as a Deputy Upper Tribunal Judge of the Upper Tribunal Immigration and Asylum Chamber also in 2010.
