Appointment of a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber: Beale

The Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP, has appointed Jane Rosemary Beale to be a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber, to exercise the Social Security and Child Support jurisdiction within that Chamber, based at Exeter.

She will take up post with effect from 2 June 2014.

Notes to editors

Jane Rosemary Beale, aged 49, will be known as Tribunal Judge Beale. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1989. She was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber (Social Security and Child Support), in 2011.
