Appointment of a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber - Pierce
The Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP, has appointed Stephen Edward Pierce to be a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber, to exercise the Social Security and Child Support jurisdiction within that Chamber, based at Sutton.
He will take up post with effect from 28 April 2014.

Stephen Edward Pierce, aged 61, will be known as Tribunal Judge Pierce. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1990. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Legally Qualified Panel Member of the Appeal Tribunals in 2007, becoming a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber (Social Security and Child Support), in 2008.
