District Judge Appointment: Ellis

The Queen has appointed Gillian Frances Ellis to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at both Worthing County Court and Chichester Combined Court Centre with effect from 14 April 2014.

Notes to editors

Gillian Frances Ellis, aged 55, will be known as District Judge Ellis. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1982. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.
