District Judge Appointment: Nichols

The Queen has appointed Stephen Mark Nichols to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Uxbridge County Court with effect from 6 May 2014.

Notes to editors

Stephen Mark Nichols, aged 58, will be known as District Judge Nichols. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1985. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2001.
