Appointment of a Circuit Judge - Pini QC

The Queen has appointed John Peter Julian Pini QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based in the East Midlands with effect from 10 March 2014.

John Peter Julian Pini QC, aged 59, will be known as His Honour Judge Pini QC. He was called to the Bar (G) in 1981 and took Silk in 2006. He was appointed as an Assistant Recorder and as a Recorder both in 2000.
