Appointment of a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber: Dunn

The Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP, has appointed Helen McCree Dunn to be a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber, to exercise the Social Security and Child Support jurisdiction within that Chamber, based at Glasgow.

She will take up post with effect from 7 April 2014.

Helen McCree Dunn, aged 55, will be known as Tribunal Judge Dunn. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1980. She was appointed as a Fee-Paid Legally Qualified Panel Member of the Appeal Tribunals in 1999, becoming a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber (Social Security and Child Support), in 2008. She was also appointed as a Fee-paid Lay Member of the VAT and Duties Tribunal in 2000, becoming a Fee-paid Member of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Tax Chamber, in 2009.
