Appointment of the Chief Chancery Master: Marsh

The Queen has appointed Matthew William Brooker Marsh as the Chief Chancery Master on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Chancery Division of the High Court, based at the Royal Courts of Justice, with effect from 11 April 2014.

Master Matthew William Brooker Marsh, aged 60, was admitted as a Solicitor in 1977. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2000 and as a Chancery Master in 2012.
