Appointment of a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber - Durance

The Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP, has appointed Alexander Christian John Durance to be a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber, to exercise the Social Security and Child Support jurisdiction within that Chamber, based at Manchester.

He will take up post with effect from Monday 28 April 2014.

Alexander Christian John Durance, aged 40, will be known as Tribunal Judge Durance. He was called to the Bar (M) in 1997. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber (Social Security and Child Support), in 2011.
