Appointment of a District Judge: Potts

The Queen has appointed David Wray Potts to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based in the Nottingham County Court and Mansfield County Court with effect from 31 March 2014.

Notes to editors

David Wray Potts, aged 62, will be known as District Judge Potts. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1977. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 1999 and as a Recorder in 2009.
