Appointment of a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber - Cooper

The Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP, has appointed Graham Michael Cooper to be a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber, to exercise the Social Security and Child Support jurisdiction within that Chamber, based at Norwich.

He will take up post with effect from 22 April 2014.

Notes to editors

Graham Michael Cooper, aged 45, will be known as Tribunal Judge Cooper. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1995. He was appointed as a Fee-Paid Legally Qualified Panel Member of the Appeal Tribunals in 2005, becoming a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber (Social Security and Child Support) in 2008.
