District Judge Appointment: Goodchild

The Queen has appointed Emma Jane Goodchild to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Romford County Court with effect from 1 May 2014.

Notes to editors

Emma Jane Goodchild, aged 40, will be known as District Judge Emma Goodchild. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1998. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2008.
