Appointment of a Circuit Judge - Stacey

The Queen has appointed Mary Elizabeth Stacey to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed her to the Midland Circuit, based at Birmingham Crown Court with effect from 14 March 2014.

Mary Elizabeth Stacey, aged 52, will be known as Her Honour Judge Stacey. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1987. She was appointed as a Fee-paid Employment Judge in 1997, as a Salaried Employment Judge in 2003 and as a Recorder in 2007.
