His Honour Judge Richard Charles Edward Southwell retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 2 November 2013.

His Honour Judge Southwell (67) was called to the Bar (I) in 1970. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1984 and a Recorder in 1987. He was authorised to sit as a Deputy High Court Judge in 1998 and appointed a Circuit Judge in 2000.
