Senior Circuit Judge Appointment - Gore

The Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP, has appointed His Honour Judge Allan Peter Gore QC to be a Senior Circuit Judge, Designated Civil Judge for Manchester.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, will assign him to the Northern Circuit, based at Manchester, with effect from Monday 28 October 2013.

Allan Peter Gore QC, 62, will continue to be known as His Honour Judge Gore QC. He was called to the Bar (M) in 1978 and took Silk in 2003. He was appointed as an Assistant Recorder in 1999, as a Recorder in 2000, as a Circuit Judge in 2010 and as a Senior Circuit Judge (Designated Civil Judge for Liverpool) in 2011. He was authorised to sit as a Deputy High Court Judge in 2010.
