Circuit Judge Appointment - Wright

The Queen has appointed Sarah Carolyn Wright to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has assigned her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Sheffield Combined Court Centre with effect from 20 January 2014.

Sarah Carolyn Wright, aged 52, will be known as Her Honour Judge Sarah Wright. She was called to the Bar (G) in 1984. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2009.
