Circuit Judge Appointment - Adams

The Queen has appointed Robert George Seton Adams to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has assigned him to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Durham Crown Court with effect from 20 January 2013.

Notes to editors

Robert George Seton Adams, aged 47, will be known as His Honour Judge Adams. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1993. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2008.
