Circuit Bench Retirement - Watson
Her Honour Judge Barbara Joan Watson retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 1 January 2014.

Her Honour Judge Watson (63) was called to the Bar (G) in 1973. She was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1992, a Recorder in 1997, a Circuit Judge in 2000, Honorary Recorder for the Borough of Burnley in 2004 and Deputy High Court Judge in 2007. She was appointed Designated Family Judge for Lancashire from 2007 to 2011 and a Member of the Council of Circuit Judges from 2008 to 2011.
