Circuit Judge: Death in service
The Lord Chief Justice, Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, and the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP, were saddened to learn of the death of Her Honour Judge Jane Shipley on 3 February 2014.

Her Honour Judge Jane Shipley (62) was called to the Bar in 1974. She was appointed as an Assistant Recorder in 1991, as a Recorder in 1995, and as a Circuit Judge in October 2000.
