His Honour Judge Christopher Thomas Walton retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 21 April 2014.

His Honour Judge Walton (65) was called to the Bar (M) in 1973. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1990, a Recorder in 1992 and a Circuit Judge in 1997. He was appointed the Designated Civil Judge for Newcastle Combined Court in 1990.
