Appointment of a Circuit Judge: Laing
The Queen has appointed Christine Katherine Laing QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.
The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Woolwich Crown Court with effect from 2 June 2014.

Christine Katherine Laing, aged 52, will be known as Her Honour Judge Laing QC. She was called to the Bar (L) in 1984 and took Silk in 2006. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2004.
