President of Employment Tribunals (England and Wales) - Retirement

The President of Employment Tribunals (England and Wales), Judge David Latham retires with effect from 1 April 2014.

Judge Latham (67) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1971. He was appointed a part-time Chairman of the Employment Tribunal in 1992 and a full-time Chairman in 1996. He was appointed a Legal Chairman of the Reinstatement Committees and Umpires Panel in 1998, the Regional Chairman (later Regional Employment Judge) of the Employment Tribunals (London Central) in 2001 and a Chairman of the Reserve Forces Appeal Tribunal in 2003. He was appointed the President of Employment Tribunals (England and Wales) in 2009.
