His Honour Judge Charles William Byers retired as a Circuit Judge with effect from 25 March 2014.

His Honour Judge Byers (65) was called to the Bar (G) in 1973. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1989, a Recorder in 1993, a Circuit Judge in 1999 and Resident Judge for Woolwich Crown Court from 2007 to 2012.
