Circuit Bench Retirement - Birtles
His Honour Judge William Jack Birtles retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 22 April 2014.

His Honour Judge Birtles (69) was called to the Bar (G) in 1970, (L) in 1986 and to the Bar of Northern Ireland in 1998. He was elected as a Bencher (G) in 2008. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1989, a Recorder in 1993, a Circuit Judge in 2002 and a Judge of the Employment Appeal Tribunal in 2003. He was authorised to sit as a Deputy High Court Judge in 2010.
