Appointment of a District Judge: Bloom-Davis

The Queen has appointed Desmond Niall Laurence Bloom-Davis to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed him to the Western Circuit, based in the Bournemouth County Court and Weymouth County Court with effect from 6 May 2014.

Desmond Niall Laurence Bloom-Davis, aged 50, will be known as District Judge Bloom-Davis. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1986. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2003.
