Appointment of a Circuit Judge: Lucas
The Queen has appointed Noel John Mac Lucas QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.
The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Guildford Crown Court with effect from 8 May 2014.

Noel John Mac Lucas QC, aged 61, will be known as His Honour Judge Lucas QC. He was called to the Bar (M) in 1979 and took Silk in 2008. He was appointed as an Assistant Recorder in 1999 and as a Recorder in 2000.
