Eddie Davies

As acting Commercial and Customer Director Eddie is responsible for the development, refinement and communication of Land Registry's customer and customer contact strategies.

The role of the Commercial and Customer Directorate is to act as the voice of the customer within Land Registry by putting the customer, quality and innovation at the heart of Land Registry services.

As a member of the Land Registry Executive Board and a Director of the business Eddie has shared responsibility for leading and managing the business and for supporting the Chief Executive. Eddie is also Chair of the Land Registry Sports and Social Committee.

Eddie is responsible for the following groups:

Commercial and Customer Strategy and Experience Department
Product Development and Management Team
Business Development Department
International Department
Marketing and Sales Department - including Digital and Social Media development
Customer Service and Handling Department

Eddie has over 23 years experience in Land Registry covering roles such as Surveyor Internal System Development and Product Development and Management. In 2005 Eddie set-up the Commercial Services section and later helped draft Land Registry's Diversification Strategy. Over the past 4 years as Head of Product Management Eddie has been responsible for developing the services provided through LR Portal and Business Gateway channels and was Senior Responsible Officer for Land Registry’s Electronic Document Registration System.

Eddie joined Land Registry in 1989.
