Research Councils UK has, in collaboration with the Research Information Network and the Department of Trade and Industry, commissioned an analysis of the availability and quality of data on scholarly journals publishing. This study started mid-April 2006 and should finish by the middle of summer 2006.
It is being undertaken by Electronic Publishing Services Ltd in association with Loughborough University's Department of Information Science. This study will inform further developments in the Research Councils' positions.
