Criminal Court of Appeal to sit in Nottingham

The Criminal Court of Appeal will sit at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday 29 November.

On 29 November, the Lord Chief Justice, Lord Thomas, Mr Justice Flaux and Mr Justice MacDuff will hear a renewed applications by Mairead Philpott and Paul Mosley seeking to appeal their sentences for the manslaughter of six children following a trial at Nottingham Crown Court in April 2013.

The Court will also hear an application by Michael Hamblett-Sewell for permission to appeal his conviction for murder. If permission is granted the Court may go on to hear the appeal. Michael Hamblett-Sewell was convicted of murder following a trial at Nottingham Crown Court in October 2009.
