The Judicial Office reports to the Lord Chief Justice. Its purpose is to support the judiciary in upholding the rule of law and in delivering justice impartially, speedily and efficiently.
Training for judicial office-holders in the courts and in most tribunals is, from 1 April 2011, the responsibility of the Judicial College.
