Circuit Judge Appointment - Eady

The Queen has appointed Jennifer Jane Eady QC to be a Circuit Judge of the Employment Appeal Tribunal on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has assigned her to the Employment Appeals Tribunal, based at Fleetbank House, Central London, with effect from Monday 2 December 2013.

Jennifer Jane Eady QC, aged 48, will be known as Her Honour Judge Eady QC. She was called to the Bar (I) in 1989 and took Silk in 2006. She served as a Fee-paid Chairman of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales) between 2001 and 2008, and she was appointed as a Recorder in 2004.
