Specialist Circuit Judge Appointment - Hacon

The Queen has appointed Richard David Hacon to be a Specialist Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has assigned him to the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, based at the Royal Courts of Justice, with effect from Tuesday 3 December 2013.

Notes to editors

Richard David Hacon, 57, will be known as His Honour Judge Hacon. He was called to the Bar (G) in 1979.
