Mark Boyle

Mark splits his time between two roles:

Non-Executive Chair of the Land Registry Board, which he fulfils in a private, independent, capacity. This involves chairing all LR Board meetings, at which Land Registry's overall strategy is discussed and agreed, and assisting the Chief Land Registrar and Chief Executive in ensuring good governance and performance.

and

Director of the Shareholder Executive, the specialist team based in the Department of Business, Innovation & Skills (BIS) that looks after a portfolio of Government-owned businesses ranging from the Royal Mint to the Ordnance Survey.

Before this he spent 12 years in senior commercial and corporate development roles with Compass Group and with Rentokil Initial, prior to which he spent 15 years in banking with Lloyds and Kleinwort Benson.

Mark is 52 years old and married with two children. He lives in Kew, south-west London and enjoys golf, tennis and classical music.
