The L'Oréal UK Fellowships For Women In Science have been created to promote, celebrate, enhance and encourage the role and achievements of UK women in the fields of the life and physical sciences.
Three Fellowships of £10,000 each will be awarded each year to outstanding UK women scientists at post-doctoral level to assist them with their research. An additional £10,000 fellowship, co-funded by L'Oréal UK and the UK Resource Centre for Women in SET, will be available exclusively for women scientists at post-doctoral level who are returning to scientific research following a career break.
The closing deadline for the 2007 Fellowships is Wednesday 18 April.
