Appointment of Master of the Rolls

The Queen has approved the appointment of The Right Honourable Lord Dyson as Master of the Rolls

Her Majesty The Queen has been pleased to approve the appointment of The Right Honourable Lord Dyson as Master of the Rolls with effect from 1 October.

This appointment follows the announcement of The Right Honourable Lord Neuberger’s appointment as President of the Supreme Court.

Lord Dyson said: "I am delighted and honoured to hear that I have been appointed as the Master of the Rolls. I am looking forward greatly to working in the Court of Appeal again."
