Appointment of Vice-President of the Queen's Bench Division and Deputy Senior Presiding Judge

The Rt Hon The Lord Judge, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales said:

“Following the appointment of Lord Justice Thomas as President of the Queen's Bench Division, from 3rd October 2011, I am pleased to announce, with the agreement of the Lord Chancellor, that Lady Justice Hallett will be appointed as Vice-President of the Queen's Bench Division for a period of four years from the same date.She will continue as Chairman of the Judicial College at least until the end of this year.

“I am also pleased to announce, and again with the agreement of the Lord Chancellor, that Lord Justice Gross will be appointed as Deputy Senior Presiding Judge from 3rd October 2011.”
