The Master of the Rolls considered the problem of civil costs:

“The door to justice in this country stands open, but the cost of entry serves as a formidable doorkeeper.”

Looking forward to the publication of Lord Justice Jackson’s Review of Civil Litigation Costs, he outlined the key issues and the vital importance of legal aid.
