It is some time now since I was the chairman of the Association and I am glad to see that under the chairmanship of Michael Kent QC it continues to go from strength to strength. The role played in the development of the profession, and the interests of their members, of specialist Bar Associations, such as the LCLCBA is of immense importance and will continue to be so.
