Research Councils UK (RCUK) Research Careers and Diversity Unit and the ESRC are pleased to welcome applications to conduct a Research Synthesis on the topic of Impact of the Career Choices of UK PhD Graduates.
It is anticipated the scope of the Synthesis will consider the question of what PhD students are doing following the completion of their degree and what is known about the impact they are having in their work place and employment sector.
Applications can be made for up to £10,000 for the Synthesis, with additional funding available for outputs and dissemination. It is anticipated the Synthesis will be conducted from a period of June to August 31, 2007.
The final product of the synthesis will include a written Synthesis report along with a PowerPoint presentation.
Applications are especially welcome from early career researchers.
The deadline for applications to be submitted is 4pm on 31 May 2007 via the paper application form.
