The RCUK office in Beijing was delighted to welcome a visit from the NERC-funded research fellow who won a medal at the Olympics. Dr Joshua West, a NERC-funded postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Oxford, is one of the team that won the Olympics Silver medal for Britain in the mens-eight rowing final in Beijing on the 19 August.
