Diversity
Land Registry is fully committed to treating people as individuals, providing equality of opportunity for all our employees and equal treatment for our customers. We will uphold our policies fairly, reasonably and without bias or prejudice to our staff and our customers. Valuing diversity enables us to realise the full potential of all our employees and helps provide the best possible service to our full range of customers.
Our diversity strategy and strategic equality objectives ensure we will we fulfill our legal requirements under the public sector equality duty. We also undertake equality analysis to ensure we show due regard to the aims of the equality duty. Recently completed equality impact assessments (EIAs) will be published on this website. You will be able to access archived EIAs through the National Archives.
It is important for us to monitor how successful our equality objectives are in meeting our goals and therefore we collect and analyse information to help us do this. The results are published in our Equality Information Report 2012, which provides information on how we have monitored and promoted equality and diversity over the last 12 months and our improvement plans for 2012. In addition, our Diversity Committee will independently monitor our equality objectives throughout the year.
