The Lord Chief Justice has announced the appointment of Mr Justice Akenhead as Judge in Charge of the Technology and Construction Court with effect from 1 September 2010.
He succeeds Mr Justice Ramsey whose term of office comes to an end on 31 August 2010.
The role of Judge in Charge involves overall responsibility for the TCC list, including assigning the judges of the court to cases.

1.The Hon. Mr Justice (Sir Robert) Akenhead was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1972. He was appointed a QC in 1989 and a Recorder in 1994. In 2007 he was appointed a High Court Judge in the Queen’s Bench Division.
