Tube and National Rail map licensing

Diary showing map The Underground map is recognised the world over as a symbol of London. But did you know it's protected by copyright and you need permission to reproduce it?

The Tube map is protected by copyright and the logo is a registered trademark. To use the map in your design, you need to get permission from Pulse Creative, TfL's appointed map licensing administrator.

To use the London Underground map in a commercial publication, you will need to sign a licence agreement and you may need to pay royalty charges.

To obtain approval to reproduce the TfL and National Rail maps:

Step 1: Place an order which is sent to Pulse Creative

Step 2: Pulse Creative sends you a licence agreement and invoice

Step 3: You sign and return the licence agreement and arrange payment to Pulse Creative

Step 4: Pulse Creative releases the artwork to you
